Corset Care

While corsets require a little more care than regular clothing, caring for them is very easy, and if you follow the recommendations below, you can be sure they will last for many years in perfect condition.

HOW SHOULD I WASH MY CORSET?

When washing your corset, the best option is to take it to the cleaners and opt for dry cleaning. However, if you prefer, you can also put it in the washing machine, taking into account the following care instructions:

  • It should be on a "delicate wash" cycle.
  • Do not use strong detergents or bleach.
  • Avoid the spin cycle.
  • Do not put it in the dryer, it is better to hang it in the shade.
  • Iron at medium/low temperature.

WHAT SHOULD I AVOID?

Avoid hand washing and under no circumstances rub it, as this can cause the fabric to lose its color.

SOME EXTRA TIPS

Sometimes, due to prolonged use of the corset or due to certain positions, the underwires can lose their original shape. All you need to do is iron them at a medium/low temperature to restore them to their original shape.
